A practical checklist for product care cards
A care card should help someone care for the actual item they bought.
Collect verified instructions
Use your material supplier’s guidance and your own product testing. Record washing, drying, storage, and relevant handling instructions before generating wording.
Keep the card scannable
Use one action per line. Put the most important instruction first, and avoid turning basic care guidance into a lengthy brand story.
Check before printing
Read every instruction against your original facts. Print one card at its final size to check text size, contrast, and margins.
